Jerez - Incidents between Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez in MotoGP last weekend got a response from their peers-fellow riders. How can they comment?
Previously, in racing series MotoGP Jerez, Spain last weekend there was a controversial incident involving the Spanish duo, and Lorenzo Marquez. On the final lap, Lorenzo, who was then in front of Marquez being started entering the final corner, but Marquez came suddenly from the side of the bend.
They touched each other in the final corner on the last lap. Marquez then managed to finish in second place and Lorenzo had to settle for third on the podium.
This incident alone raises a variety of opinions from many quarters, not least his fellow riders, including teammate Marquez, Dani Pedrosa.
"I think, if they are not touched, Marc going off the track. Was mean, he was probably a little too late for the brakes," he said on the official MotoGP website.
Meanwhile, Andrea Dovizioso, who also had been a retainer Honda, argues that what Marquez is not to exceed the limit. Despite still must be questioned to the relevant parties.
"I think Marquez a bit aggressive, but I do not think that exceed the limit. But obviously we have to present it to the commission about the safety of it, just to clarify the rules," said Dovizioso.
"I mean, everyone should know how we fight. But anyway, it was a bit harsh, but I think it does not exceed the limit."
Lorenzo's teammate, Valentino Rossi, joined an opinion. Although rough, he said things like this are very likely to happen in the world of motor racing.
"It was definitely a hard attack, and a rough way of overtaking Marc. He touched Jorge, but it was on the last lap, last corner, and obviously the person behind surely try something," said Rossi.
"Jorge let the 'door open' and Marc get into the lane, so I think this is something that could happen in the race."
Marquez himself has given an apology to Lorenzo after the race. He also claimed to be inspired previous riders who do the same in this circuit, like when Rossi overtook Sete Gibernau in 2005 and Mick Doohan to Alex Criville in 1996.
