Bad day for Rossi

Paris - Problems with tires called Valentino Rossi failed to make good time record incised in French MotoGP qualifying. The Doctor was so not sure he can compete to enter the top three.

Rossi became only the eighth fastest rider in the MotoGP qualifying session at Le Mans Circuit France, Saturday (05/18/2013) evening hrs. His time of one minute 34.009 seconds which 0.822 seconds adrift of Marc Marquez as the owner of the pole position.

Rossi called, problems with tires has made him fail to get the desired grip in qualifying. In the end he was not able to maximize the potential of the motor and left behind in eighth position.

"Unfortunately today is worse than yesterday. We began badly this morning because we had problems with the rear tire so we are very hard at training sessions," said Rossi.

"Like the other races, in qualifying I was not able to do what I want. Currently I want more to make this again, I bring up the issue on the motor. Rider else better than me to use the extra grip of the new tires, so I had to start from the third row , "he said as reported in Autosport.

Were not far behind the top riders, Rossi was not sure he would be on the podium in the race tonight because its main competitor Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez has better speed.

"My rhythm was not too bad, so there we have to fix. Unfortunately, especially Lorenzo, Marquez and Pedrosa, had a faster time," said Rossi again.
