Pedrosa: Still Need Many Tested

Finished the first day of testing at Sepang as the fastest rider, Dani Pedrosa indirect complacent because this is a new test just beginning and much remains to be done.

Repsol Honda rider finished the first day of testing at Sepang on Tuesday (02/05/2013), with a score as the fastest time of 2 minutes 01.157 seconds.

Pedrosa managed to outperform the Yamaha rider who last season beat in the race for the championship, Jorge Lorenzo, which finished the test today in second place by a margin of 0.008 seconds.

"It's basically the same motor as in Valencia. Difference from last year is the weight and today more to try to change the weight of the bike and it went well," said Pedrosa in Crash.

"We also do a test engine durability concerns. I'ma bit tired but the day is not too hot. Still there are many things to be tested such as shock, suspension, something with the brakes."

"Today, more to the test function. Tomorrow we will go into more suspension, speed, and other things. The track is pretty good and today is cloudy; here if the conditions are too hot then traction will be reduced," he said.
