Lorenzo Not Surprized with Rossi and Marquez Performance

Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi look good on the first day of the official MotoGP test at Sepang Circuit. The second rider slick performance was not surprising last season's world champion, Jorge Lorenzo.

Test first day in Malaysia is over, Tuesday (05/02/2013) yesterday. The end result puts Dani Pedrosa was quickest, followed by Lorenzo, Marquez, and Rossi, who finished in a row behind the rider 27 years.

Lorenzo admitted he was surprised by the composition of the fastest rider on the day of the first test. Marquez, who is a debutant and Rossi are back again to the Yamaha team, is predicted by the Spanish rider was going to be talking a lot this season.

Some time ago, it was mentioned that Lorenzo fourth fastest rider on the first day of this test is a strong candidate this season's world champion.

"I'm not surprised because I thought Valentino (Rossi) and (Marc) Marquez will be in that position since the beginning," said Lorenzo in Crash.

Lorenzo also commented on the difference in record time which is pretty close between Honda and Yamaha which occupies two leading position.

"The difference (time) between the Yamaha and Honda are very close. We will try to improve the performance of our motor," said the rider, who also won the title of champion in 2010's.
