Honda Could Give Wild Card for Stoner Appear in Australian GP

Casey Stoner chance to return to MotoGP this season despite only competing in one or two races only. Team Honda the opportunity to give a wild card for Australian Stoner appeared in the series.

Problem Stoner MotoGP returned to Australia to perform at the Grand Prix was originally only a speculation. Its foundation is providing an opportunity for Stoner to continue the brilliant record he had at the Phillip Island circuit, where he's always been a champion there since 2007 until he retired last season.

Another reason, the presence of Stoner in Australia believed the series would make want to host public thronged the carpet by coming directly to the circuit.

When asked to comment about this, the HRC (Honda Racing Corporation) mentioned that it could be realized. Moreover, Australian MotoGP schedule certainly does not clash with the V8 Supercar event, which started the season followed by Stoner.

"I do not know where these rumors come but Casey had said in an interview that he might be willing to accept rations wild card, although no one can be sure," said HRC boss, Livio Suppo.

"That's everybody's dream to think that maybe one day we will see him riding a motorcycle again, but this time it has not happened yet. Certainly if Casey wanted to do it then we will be very happy, but I think this time Casey needs to concentrate on his adventures in the V8 series, "said Suppo at MCN.

Besides Australia, mentioned also that Stoner will be performing at the Honda stables race at Motegi Circuit.

"Of course it will be discussed if Casey expressed interest. Was not going to be easy because if you want to give the wild card Casey then you should do it properly. But for riders like Casey will try and try our best to get it," said Suppo .
