Crutchlow: Difficult to Repeat 2012 Result

Cal Crutchlow and Tech 3 Yamaha team performed well in the 2012 season and to be able to finish in the top three final standings. Repeat this success this year is believed to be work extra hard.

Having won the Rookie of The Year in the 2011 season, Crutchlow again showed slick performance at last year. Except failed to finish in five series, the British rider to perform consistently throughout the season with them twice finished on the podium and never completed the race outside the top eight.

Similar conditions occur in other Tech 3 rider, Andrea Dovizioso. Five podiums obtained and solid performances throughout the season ultimately led Tech 3 finish in the top three standings of the season, behind two teams that major manufacturers Yamaha and Honda.

For the 2013 season, Crutchlow was sure of himself and Tech 3 team can repeat these results. Competition Board will increasingly fierce amid calls for a satellite team Honda Gresini and LCR, showed improved performance.

"It will be difficult, because the two other satellite teams, (Alvaro) Bautista (at Gresini) and (Stefan) Bradl (LCR) has a motor manufacturer. We cannot anything new: Our motors (used in Sepang test) equal we use exactly the race in Valencia last year, "Crutchlow said in an interview with the BBC.

"I think this year seven to eight riders could win the race. We will come together as a team and prepare for what we call the war," said former Superbike racer that.

Before the 2013 season races were held, there will be two tests conducted by the MotoGP team at Sepang and Jerez. On the occasion, Crutchlow hopes his team can get the desired progress in preparation for a good ride this season.

"That is a good thing and a bad thing (to test the motor last season): of course we want some headway, but we also want to be more familiar with the bike. We passed a few problems, and it seems to make any progress on a few things. "

"We'll see what we can in the second test, (but) we took Yamaha to help us. Honda was at a very good year so let's see: that would be difficult," he said.
