A comment
from the former rival Max Biaggi, Valentino Rossi, rated as satire and scorn.
Want to straighten, Biaggi has claimed it intends to praise Rossi.
Rossi and
Biaggi had become fierce rivals in the final period 500 cc Grand Prix until
later into the early era of MotoGP. Both Italiano it was touted not have a good
relationship outside the track.
So when
Biaggi equate Rossi as famous magician David Copperfield, when discussing
Rossi's move from Yamaha to Ducati in the 2013 season, the commentary was also
assessed as a form of mockery.
"Valentino
Rossi like Copperfield? After two bad seasons (Ducati) he was able to get a
world title-winning bike," said Biaggi at the time, as quoted by Crash.
As is
known, Biaggi was close friend of Jorge Lorenzo, the Yamaha rider who became
world champion last season and will again be a partner in the 2013 season Rossi
- Rossi and Lorenzo before he became partner in Yamaha period 2008-2010. Then
increasingly stronger presumption that Biaggi wanted pout Rossi.
However,
Biaggi insists he did not mean it like that. According to the man who is now a
World Superbike commentator on Italian television, he even wanted to commend
Rossi.
"Saying
Rossi as Copperfield meant as a compliment.'s Just a magician seems to be
recovering well after undergoing a difficult two seasons," Biaggi wrote in
his Twitter account, @ maxbiaggi.
"It
could come back to the world championships with Yamaha with Lorenzo is not
easy. I say good luck to them both," said Biaggi,
